How to get there

There are many different ways to get to Doctor Music Festival:


Follow the C-17 road (exit Montmeló), or the AP-7 highway (exits 13, 14 and 15. The exits 14 and 15 connect to the C-17 road).

By Train

The festival’s new location means that the Rodalies de Catalunya (local commuter train service) is an excellent option for easy, fast and sustainable travel to Montmeló. The town of Montmeló is located on the R2nord train line (Airport-Barcelona-Maçanet) which runs 74 trains per day on the weekend with a total capacity of 81,400 seats.

The train station for getting to the Festival is Estació de Montmeló.

The Circuit is located at a 20-25-minute walk from the station. There will be a shuttle service for festival-goers with integrated Renfe train tickets, which is a 5-minute bus ride.

Passengers arriving into Sants station on the Long distance-AVE (High-speed train service) can take one of many connecting trains to Montmeló running on the R2 train line. Travel on this R2 local commuter train service is included within your AVE train ticket.

The travel cost of this service is included in your long-distance train ticket.

From Barcelona (RODALIES DE CATALUNYA RENFE - Commuter trains)

  • Line R2 Castelledefels <---> Granollers Centre
  • Line R2 Nord Aeroport <---> Maçanet Massanes
Stop at the Montmeló station.

From Girona (RODALIES DE CATALUNYA RENFE - Commuter trains)

  • Line R11 Barcelona Sants <---> Girona <---> Portbou
Change at the Granollers Centre station to take Line R2 or R8 to Montmeló.

By Bus

  • Shuttle bus from Barcelona

Doctor Music Festival and Sagalés will offer a shuttle service to and from the centre of Barcelona to the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya by coach. The shuttle departure point will be from Barcelona Nord bus station (C/ Ali Bei, 80), leaving from platforms 25, 26 and 27. The total journey time is approximately 45 minutes.

  • Shuttle bus from Montmeló

We will offer all festival-goers a shuttle service from Montmeló, departing from the town’s normal bus stop located on the road out of town, to the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. Buses will run every 15 minutes.

The best bus stops to get to Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on foot are:

  • Ctra. de Vic – Mossèn Cinto Verdaguer (15 min.)

Approx. trip duration from Girona to Barcelona Sants: 38 minutes. Travellers with an AVE ticket get a free ticket for the commuter train (Cercanías) on departure and on arrival, including the connection service to the El Prat T2 and Barajas T4 airport stations (the Cercanías ticket is available at the ticket sales machines using the code printed on the AVE ticket). Walking from the train station
From the RENFE train station in Montmeló there is an approx. 45-minutes walk to the Circuit.
