Doctor Music Festival reveils full line-up and set times

James Murphy, Khea, Måneskin, White Lies and DJ Amable join the line-up for Doctor Music Festival 2019

James Murphy is a world-renowned artist, multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, record producer and DJ. His most famous musical venture is LCD Soundsystem. He is also the cofounder and producer of the record label DFA Records. LCD Soundsystem has been acknowledged as a major force in recent music and in 2013 was named as one of Rolling Stone’s New Immortals.

White Lies came together in Ealing, London in 2009 with a post punk sound that both critics and fans quickly fell in love with. In 2019 they released Five, their fifth album with production and mixes from James Brown (Arctic Monkeys, Foo Fighters), a work of perfection which they will be presenting in just a few weeks at the Doctor Music Festival.

Khea, is just 18 years old and has already shot to stardom in the space of a year, quickly establishing himself as a leader in Latin trap across Argentina and Latin America. In 2018, he released his hit single 'Loca' which to date has received over 900 million hits on Spotify and YouTube. Just in the last year he has performed over 100 shows at some of the most emblematic venues in Argentina and Latin America, as well as playing at top festivals such as Lollapalooza Argentina, Lollapalooza Chile and Creamfields Chile.

Måneskin, is a young promise on the European pop-rock scene. This group has done nothing but release hits and accumulate numerous awards, from their sold out shows to their Platinum Record for the hit song 'Torna a casa'. Their online success speaks for itself, with over 80.9 million views on YouTube and over 104.4 million streams on Spotify.
DJ Amablehas been a renowned DJ on the alternative scene since the beginning his professional career back in 1985 up until now, where he finds himself as the resident DJ of Razz Club in Barcelona, not forgetting his residencies at many other important venues and festivals.

We would also like to announce that for technical reasons the performance of The Bizarre World of Frank Zappa has been cancelled. The technology used for the hologram is extremely state-of-the-art and requires the use of the stage for the entire day in order to be setup properly, something which unfortunately is not possible within the context of a festival where multiple groups play on the same stage. Despite all the efforts of our team to make it happen, we are sad to say that this amazing performance will not be possible this year at Doctor Music Festival.

The festival’s new location means that the Cercanías de Cataluña (local commuter train service) is an excellent option for easy, fast and sustainable travel to Montmeló. The town of Montmeló is located on the R2nord train line (Airport-Barcelona-Maçanet) which runs 74 trains per day on the weekend with a total capacity of 81,400 seats.

The train station for getting to the Festival is ó de Montmeló.

The Circuit is located at a 20-25-minute walk from the station. There will be a shuttle service for festival-goers with integrated Renfe train tickets, which is a 5-minute bus ride.

Passengers arriving into Sants station on the Long distance-AVE (High-speed train service) can take one of many connecting trains to Montmeló running on the R2 train line. Travel on this R2 local commuter train service is included within your AVE train ticket.

The travel cost of this service is included in your long-distance train ticket.
